Students from the School of Economics and Business visited Spodnja Idrija as part of the course Learning and Knowledge Management, taught by Prof. Vlado Dimovski, PhD. In the scope of the specialised excursion they learned about the work and premises of our corporation, as well as employment and career options offered to young experts.

The students first visited our Materials and Technologies Institute and the production facilities. Afterwards, we informed them about the company's activities in the area of learning, education and development of employees. We also presented the role of machine learning in the company, activities in the area of innovations and IT support, and knowledge management in a company operating in a high-tech branch. We concluded the excursion with a discussion on the students' project assignments, in the scope of which they presented the findings made so far and the issues still open.

The purpose of such visits to Hidria is to promote innovative thinking among the young people, to share our knowledge with them and to inform them of the new achievements of our corporation. We also wish to meet potential candidates who would like to work in Hidria after they complete the studies and help with the development of the company.
