The Mayor of the Municipality of Koper, Aleš Bržan, visited our Technology Park in Koper yesterday. Together with his colleagues he visited our production facilities in the former Tomos factory. He also heard the plans of our management to strengthen the corporation and the possibilities of cooperation with the local community.

The Mayor of the Municipality of Koper Aleš Bržan was very interested in our Technology Park in Koper. At the welcome meeting, we presented the operation of both Hidria Alutec and Hidria Mototec business units and the Industrial Automation Competence Centre. We also presented our high-tech and innovative products and solutions in the field of aluminium steering systems, aesthetic welded steel and aluminium frames for motorcycles, and high-end and high-tech automated production lines.

At this first visit of the new Mayor of Koper, we also discussed the cooperation between Hidria and the local community, the opportunities that Hidria and the Municipality of Koper offer to the local population in Koper and the vision of the development for our Koper location. Nearly 400 people work in it, and Hidria is one of the largest employers in the coastal area.
