One month before the end of the school year, fourth-year students from the Škofja Loka Secondary Technical School visited us in Spodnja Idrija. We presented them employment opportunities, activities in work with young people and various areas and parts of our production.

For these future technicians, we prepared a clear presentation of our production processes and products that rank us among the leading companies in the world in our segments and showed them different areas where we will need their knowledge in the future.  First, they had a look at the mechanical measurement laboratory. At fine mechanical processing, we introduced the students to EDM processing, coordinate and profile grinding and other types of mechanical processing.

In this way, we presented all possibilities and support we provide to student for successful schooling and the changeover from studies to the professional path. We are happy to be able to again and again share our knowledge and experience with the next generation of professionals.

During the rest of the presentation, the students got to know the installation of die-casting tools, the industrial automation department and the maintenance and installation of stamping tools. Before leaving us, our potential future colleagues saw also the production procedure for laminations and packages for stators and rotors, the key parts of an electric motor.
