In Spodnja Idrija yesterday and today Leonardo Day is held. Hidria hosts suppliers of all stamping technologies at the event. The aim of the meeting is to find a solution for the capture of process data and serial traceability within the framework of Industry 4.0, which is crucial for the successful implementation of the FASL project.
FASL stands for fully adaptive stamping line. The goal of the project is to achieve just that – an adaptive stamping line that will ensure the same dimensions of the final products. In accordance with the complexity and scope of the project, several parallel activities are running. The first step on the way to the goal is certainly the capture and storage of key data for later processing and use. Various activities are already underway to measure the mechanical characteristics of the input material (electric sheets) in real time. The Leonardo day is dedicated to coordinating with suppliers to capture process parameters from all the components of the stamping line. The captured data will be a key element and driving force for the further development of the adaptive process.
Using advanced technologies such as large-scale database analysis, machine learning, digital twins and numerical simulations, Hidria strives to stay at the forefront of technological progress and meet ever-higher industry standards.
The successful implementation of the innovative idea of the FASL project will enable us to increase productivity by optimizing the production process, improve the consistency and quality of the finished products, and gain a great competitive advantage on the market.
