On Tuesday, June 13, the team of Hidria's Competence Center Industrial Automation received a bronze award for innovation at the Primorska Chamber of Commerce event. It was ranked among the best innovations in the Coastal-Kraška and Primorje-Notranjska region with the industrialization of the production of an innovative tie with a metal tooth.

Hidria's team, which includes Silvin Šavle, Boštjan Grižonič, Almir Alibabič, Jure Štrekelj, Anej Gulič, Matjaž Behek and Franci Volarič, has developed the industrialization of a completely new concept of polyurethane ties. The solution was industrialized for an Italian customer, ITW Construction Products, who developed a new, breakthrough model of metal tooth tie that significantly increases the reliability and safety of finished products and thus the safety and satisfaction of end users in various industries, from construction to logistics and components for wider industrial use.

With the solution, Hidria enabled the customer to automate the production of a new product with a unique system for the preparation and dosing of metal teeth in the form of a universal dosing machine. The innovative industrialization system for Hidria's Industrial Automation team means an upgrade of the long-standing cooperation with ITW Construction Products Italy and an important new reference.
