The American Chamber of Commerce in Slovenia (AmCham) declared our cutting-edge Hidria Bond technology - developed by a team of female and male engineers from Hidria - the best business practice in Slovenia, Best of the Best 2020. This made them the Beacon of Change and an inspiration to many companies and employees.

The innovative breakthrough Hidria Bond bonding technology for laminations, the key elements of modern electric motors, won in the Innovation category of the AmCham Best of the Best competition already in September 2020. In the superfinals it later competed with Dewesoft and the Katapult enterprise accelerator.

Despite the excellent competition, all three parts of the jury – the audience, the expert jury, and participants in the virtual event – gave the most points to Hidria Bond and the team of excellent female and male engineers from Hidria. The winner got the title Beacon of Change - creator of inspiring and unforgettable stories that change the world and our lives for the better.

Only exceptional projects and the best business practices that bring new knowledge, approaches, products, processes, and business models into the Slovenian business domain in an innovative way can be awarded this prize and title.
