Hidria is well aware that youth builds the world. Their qualification for modern challenges is key to the successful growth of the group. Last weekend, three young Hidria employees attended a 5-day Ryla seminar in Cerkno (Slovenia), where 22 young leaders and future leaders learned about leadership skills.
Ryla – Rotary Youth Leadership Awards is a seminar for leadership skills and knowledge, organised for promising young participants aged between 20 and 30 with leadership abilities. This year, three young employees attended the seminar. Under the mentorship of the internationally recognised American lecturer on leadership, communication and personal growth Dr Sue Catana, the young people gained valuable leadership experience during intensive lectures and workshops over five days; they strengthened their self-esteem and expanded their view on various topics and situations. The seminar was an excellent opportunity to build personal contacts and for networking, which often helps create successful business stories.
With the help of such trainings, Hidria encourages young people to assume responsibilities and make the decision to take the lead; they also acquire new skills and experience required to assume an active role in the company. At the same time, this also creates the prerequisites for successful growth, which is impossible without qualified employees at all levels of the company.
