Hidria received the visit of representatives of the European development project FACTS4WORKERS and the evaluator of the European Commission Paul Xirouchakis. The aim of the visit was to evaluate the achievements in the first half of the four-year project, with particular emphasis on prototype solutions developed for Hidria Dieseltec.
The European Commission’s special evaluator for the project FACTS4WORKERS Professor Dr Paul Xirouchakis gave Hidria a positive assessment. The prototype solution developed in May for the good and smooth operation of high-tech automated production lines of Hidria Dieseltec (it can be viewed in the official video of the FACTS4WORKERS project) has been functioning without failure for two months now. The expectations for its continued operation are positive, and new upgrades of the programme are expected in autumn. Nevertheless, Hidria and other partners will have a lot of work before the project is completed in 2018, as innovative technology solutions aimed to improve the work environment of workers must be brought to life in practice.
In the project FACTS4WORKERS, our corporation cooperates with two companies. The Hidria Technology centre is developing advanced solutions for improving the production lines to be used in Hidria’s processes. Hidria Rotomatika with the practical example of Hidria Lamtec focuses on the production of rotors with shaft in Spodnja Idrija. Naturally, however, new possibilities open up before the end of the project to introduce solutions in other business units and production sites of Hidria.
