The rectangular fire dampers PL-19 are now available with ATEX certificate according to equipment directive 94/9/EC in compliance with EN 13463-1: 2009. Fire dampers PL-19 also bear the CE marking for fire safety in compliance with EN 15650: 2100, so in one unit we joined the latest level of product design and regulatory requirements.
The new family PL-19 Ex brings some novelties; better price efficiency is ensured by offering version with Ex protection inside the duct only, available with unique manual or electromotor actuator, with galvanic separation for thermal fuse. Also available are versions with complete, inner and outer Ex protection with different electromotor actuators in two price ranges, to accommodate customer needs according to individual Ex zone requirements.
Regarding fire safety PL-19 Ex is available in fire resistance class EI120S or EI 90S, dimensions from 150 x 150 mm up to 1500 x 800 mm, in 50 mm step, length 400 mm. Upon request, it is possible to order customized special dimensions or adaptations for round ducts.
