The second Leonardo day in the context of the Leonardo project was held at Hidria’s technology and material institute in Sp. Idrija. Together with our suppliers, we strengthened the relations and values which connect us; we gave awards to the best suppliers; and the Corporate Purchasing Director Irena Rimac Gaspari became Leonardo ambassador.
Innovation and sincere relations with partners are two of Hidria’s basic values. We started the Leonardo project in 2013 to ensure excellent cooperation; its name derives from Leonardo da Vinci, one of the greatest innovators in the history of mankind. Through it, we relay the messages and values of Hidria to our partners, as we wish them to know our development strategy, to support us in it and grow together with us.
80 of our suppliers from 8 countries participated in the second Leonardo day (the first took place in 2014). All of them have been connected with us and our values for several years. This time we gave awards to the best and most loyal suppliers, in the form of Leonardo statues specially designed for this event. The awards were given for excellent partner relations and the embodiment of Hidria’s Leonardo culture, i.e. a culture of cooperation, openness, the wish for innovation, proactivity and development partnership. The statues were awarded to Daihen Varstroj, Mectec, MB Naklo and Ahil Plastika. We also appointed a Leonardo ambassador - Hidria’s Corporate Purchasing Director, Irena Rimac Gaspari.
The very positive atmosphere of the day was concluded with a relaxed show of the known imitators Tilen Artač, Jure Mastnak and Jure Godler; but despite its funny note, the show was quite educational. To achieve top results, one needs a clear vision, innovation, flexibility; very important are also the cooperation and sincere relations with partners.
