Hidria Lamtec in Sp. Idrija is holding two-day workshops in the framework of the Leonardo Days. In collaboration with our suppliers, we are searching for the best solutions to produce laminations and T-segment packages - some of the key parts of modern electric motors. This year, in addition to our Japanese partners, representatives of Bosch as our important client are for the first time present at the workshop.
In March at Leonardo’s expert workshop dedicated to increasing the lamination production speed and efficiency of production machines and equipment, and the reduction of material wastage, our guests were our European suppliers; now the majority of participants is coming from Japan. Together with the companies Yamada, Mitsui and Mitutoyo and important representatives from Voestalpine and for the first time also Bosch as our important client, we are intensively looking for innovative and practical solutions for a high-quality and competitive production of key parts for modern electric motors.
The expert workshops in the context of the Leonardo project are attended by all major suppliers and partners of Hidria and are an excellent chance to discover new, innovative improvements for business and production processes for our corporation as well as our loyal partners. This collaboration brought about many new solutions. Through the project we involve and connect our partners from the supply chain, and relay the messages and values of Hidria to them, as we wish them to be acquainted with our development strategy, to support us in it and grow together with us.
