PSA Peugeot Citroen has awarded Hidria, the subsidiary Hidria AET and our employees the award for the best supplier “PSA Best Plant 2017”. This French multinational corporation, one of the world's largest car manufacturers, grants this award to those suppliers that deliver the best quality. Our innovative and breakthrough solutions have proven again that we are one of the main contributors to the green mobility of the future. This allows us to continue to grow successfully, invest in research and development and create new jobs.

Hidria, our subsidiary Hidria AET from Tolmin, which is specialised in the development and manufacture of top-notch systems for diesel engine cold-start, and the employees of the corporation have won the award as the best PSA supplier after more than 10 years of hard work of high quality, and continuous innovative improvements of products and manufacturing processes. This allows Hidria to provide the PSA Group with maximally effective high-performance systems for the cold start of diesel engines, which, thanks to their innovative technology, substantially reduce the fuel consumption and emissions of modern diesel vehicles. This award represents an important strengthening of our excellent collaboration with the PSA Group in business and development. It is a new testament to the fact that we are among the most important and innovative contributors to the green mobility of the future.

Hidria started working with the PSA group 17 years ago; today, our company is represented with diesel engine cold-start systems in all vehicle models of Citroen, Peugeot and DS Automobiles with diesel engines, but also in those which are to be presented to the public soon. For PSA, we will also equip their latest diesel engine with the DV5R, which will be installed for the first time in the Peugeot 308.  With the French multinational group, for which we also develop and supply key parts for steering wheel systems and high-performance electro motors for hybrid and electric vehicles, we are already talking about engine development after 2022. With our solutions, we are also represented in the Opel diesel engines; after the PSA takeover of this vehicle manufacturer, our role and importance in the second largest European car manufacturer are additionally strengthened.
