As part of the project Building Strong Partnerships for Future Champions, we handed out 264 handball balls for young handball players. The mini-handball balls were handed over by Urška Svetlik, a member of Hidria’s Management Board, at the friendly handball match Slovenia : Croatia at the Stožice Sports Park in Ljubljana.
Hidria is strengthening its project Building Partnerships for Future Champions. We have already supported basketball players from Idrija, hockey players from Jesenice and young tennis talents. Yesterday at the preparation match for the European handball championships between Slovenia and Croatia at the Stožice Sports Park in Ljubljana, and in cooperation with the Slovenian Handball Federation, we handed over 264 balls to the 88 handball clubs active in Slovenia, three for each club; these are intended to support the training of young handball players and mark the beginning of our support for handball.
We believe that young people carry a boundless potential, so it is important to support their activities. We are determined to provide the best possible support to young talents in the environments where we work, and beyond. And to enter strategic partnerships with individuals or institutions in which they are active. We are aware that a strong local community and satisfied citizens play an important role in the development and strengthening of the country and the local environments where our corporation is active in Slovenia and abroad.
