The end of June saw the opening of the 18th Berlin CWIEME trade fair, at which, as one among the more than 750 suppliers and manufacturers of electric motor components and insulation materials and technologies from all over the world, Hidria is also present. It is presenting its range of laminations for electric motors for a variety of applications.
In the area of innovative development and production of lamination stacks made of magnetic steel sheet, Hidria ranks among the three largest European manufacturers and thus has, with its development and orientations, a major impact on the technology trends and solutions in the respective industries. Right now, it is proudly and competently presenting these aspects in detail to visitors at its fair booth in Berlin. This year, Hidria's highlights at the fair, which is set to close today, include in particular solutions in the field of vehicle electrification and optimised product technical characteristics for the benefit of both our customers and end users. Hidria's innovative approaches in the application of new technologies of lamination packaging and insulation, which further promote product quality and competitiveness and thus open doors to new markets, have been received very positively.
Along with Hidria, at the fair 750 exhibitors from all over the world are presenting their latest technologies and systems that, like electric motor components, are indispensable in our everyday lives and are found in our living environments, cars and different devices and machines. Without them, our life and work could not run along the tracks we take for granted today. Moreover, the focus industry of the Berlin CWIEME fair is an extremely important segment of European industry and, in particular, of German industry. Of the 5.8 million employees in the German electric engineering industry, the specific segment provides jobs to some 842 thousand and generates some EUR 178 billion in revenue per year.
