The 13th biennial Euroguss fair was held in Nuremberg in Germany. With our solutions we were among the 754 exhibitors at this largest fair for die casting. In three days, the fair was visited by over 15,000 professional visitors.
Trends in innovative technologies and processing of aluminium die casting are focused on streamlining and process energy efficiency. Manufacturers focus more and more on the reliability and stability of die casting. This is achieved with a growing level of automation including parameter sensorics throughout the entire process.
Manufacturers who master the construction and manufacturing of die casting moulds and can quickly produce prototypes have an important advantage. Due to electrification the customers’ requirements are focused on the production of combined assemblies where additional new technologies must be included, for example friction welding.
Hidria provides and masters all this. In friction welding we work together with many external institutes and are able to follow the market requirements in a competitive way. And the most important is that we provide a high level of CNC machining for nearly all products, which means we achieve the expected added value.
In the three days of the fair the entire Hidria team held a large number of meetings with existing and potential customers. With the correct approach and specialisation in the steering system market niche we became a recognised global manufacturer, despite the strong competition.
