Today, at Kendov dvorec, in Spodnja Idrija, Hidria and SID banka concluded the contracts on co-financing development projects for the automotive industry in total amount of EUR 40 million.

The subject of the contract is solutions for hybrid and electrical vehicles and systems for reducing emissions in diesel engines, and Hidria thus continues with intensive development of high-technology solutions for green mobility. With the development of solutions for electrical and hybrid vehicles, Hidria will focus on electrification of vehicles in the future. The second project to be financed by SID banka, namely the system for reducing emissions in diesel engines, plays an important role in assuring reduced emissions in the time of motor heating and in the phase of solid particle filter regeneration. New generations of diesel engines in which Hidria's systems would be integrated, will correspond to the high ecological standards EURO5 and EURO6.
