The awards of the Republic of Slovenia for Business Excellence in 2009 were presented yesterday in the Brdo pri Kranju Congress Centre. Hidria AET again won the silver plaque, after having received the first silver in 2007 and bronze in 2006.

Hidria AET boasts 55 years of tradition in creating high-technology solutions for the automotive industry. Innovative products for the vehicles of major European and global trademarks are developed in the Hidria Institute Automotive, which Hidria built in the close vicinity of the company. In the state-of-the-art laboratories with the finest equipment, the experts constantly search for new solutions for ignition systems of diesel-engine vehicles and in the recent years, they have been tackling with the challenge of developing solutions for hybrid and electrical vehicles with which Hidria strives for clean and green mobility. Hidria AET won the silver plaque for business excellence for its constant efforts for development and improvement of production quality, focus on the clients and results, responsible attitude towards the local community and building of long-term partnerships.
