5th HLS Forum In September, the offices of the Spodnja Idrija-based Hidria Institute for Materials and Technologies held the 5th HLS Forum, which was attended by over 90 employees in charge of the Hidria Leadership System (HLS), in addition to the Corporation’s management.

After the introductory speech by Chairman of Hidria Corporation Edvard Svetlik and the President of the Management Board Iztok Seljak, M.Sc., the guest Stephan Bonte presented to the participants how the JTEKT Corporation builds its culture of continuous improvement. After this, the project managers explained the individual approaches covered by the HLS system and presented examples of best practice from the companies within Hidria Corporation. The event concluded with an award ceremony where candidates who successfully completed the improvement project received the 6sigma GreenBelt and BlackBelt belts. The Forum was led by Frane Koren, Hidria’s HLS Manager.
